Depending on the size of the tablets the AIRSLIDE® acts as a buffer, allowing the compression machine to continue operating for approx. 30 seconds during microstops further down the line. Thus a restart of the compression machine, resulting in tablet wastage and mechanical wear-out, can be avoided at a majority of stops (Pareto -80/20 analysis).

The AIRSLIDE® replaces the mechanical distribution arm included in the standard filling machine.

Please note that the AIRSLIDE® requires a separate ventilation unit including one ventilation fan, one set of filters, one air-cooler and one volume control unit.
