General
Description
The GORDIC F-10 is a compact and flexible machine,
equipped with a SIEMENS PLC which is operated from a control panel
where operating instructions, error messages and tube speed, etc.
are displayed.
The PLC in combination with pneumatics and mechanics reduces set-up
time for the GORDIC F-10 to a minimum and provides flexibility in
terms of possible product formats. The unique system for gentle
counting and filling of cylindrical tablets in tubes is especially
suitable for fragile products like effervescent tablets.
Tablet feeding
Tablets are fed from a vibratory tablet feeder, 20 L ,attached on
the machine on to a small conveyor belt on were the tablets are
counted.
Semi automatic Tube feeding
Tubes are fed from a gravity chute, via one channel, to the tube
gate where they are placed. One tube is moved down to the chain at
one time. The chute is feed manually and it can contain
approximately 60 -100 tubes depending of the diameter of the tubes.
Semi automatic Cap feeding
Caps are fed from a gravity chute, via one channel, to the capping
station where they are fixed. One tube is capped at the time with
pneumatic cylinder. The chute is feed manually and it can contain
approximately 50 – 80 caps depending of the diameter of the caps.
CE Protections
Comply with valid CE-norm
Filling machine F-10
The filling machine is fully automated and protected against
personal injuries according to the valid CE-norm.
In the channel of the cassette on the tablet table, the tablets are
counted. When the pre-selected number of tablets is accumulated,
tablets are gently filled into the tube, first passing through the
rotating in-feeder tube.
After filling, tubes are transported on a chain towards the capping
station. During transport a control unit checks if the tubes are
filled to the correct level of tablets. After a sensor has checked
if the tube is correct capped the correct tube is ejected from the
machine. Wrongly filled or badly capped tubes are transported on the
chain out of the machine.
The F-10 can be equipped with format parts for different tablets,
tubes and caps. Change from one format to another is normally made
within 30 minutes. Simple format changes, like change from one tube
length to another, are done much faster.
