An external tube hub with capacity for one normal size box of oriented tubes. The hub can be reloaded while in operation. The tubes are automatically fed to 'Conveying unit for empty tubes'. The hub is very well suited for handling aluminum tubes and enables very compact machine configurations, still including automatic tube transfer. The system also enables in-line bar-code reading if a system for bar-code reading is applied.
