Small External Hub

A small external tube hub with capacity for approximately 100 tubes. The hub is reloaded while in operation. The tubes are automatically fed to 'Conveying unit for empty tubes' using the Gordic slide system. A sensor indicates if there is a tube on the conveying unit. The small external hub is synchronized with the unscrambler or the external (foldable) hub.

An additional 450 mm extension of the conveying unit is necessary to mount the hub. It is very well suited for handling aluminum tubes and enables very compact machine configurations, still including automatic tube transfer.

The weight of the removable case is 6.9 kg. For maximum performance and reliability the cases are build based on the tube format. Thus, if using more than one format different cases may be needed. The case is placed at a comfortable height, 600 mm above the conveying unit.

The hub is protected according to the CE norms.
